Baseball Recap: United South Comes Up Short

United South suffered their closest defeat since March 7th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eagle Pass Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

United South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Gonzalez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Roman Martinez was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

United South's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Eagle Pass, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-10-1.

While United South had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
