Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). They were the clear victors by a 21-3 margin over the Huntington Park Spartans on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rough Riders with their most commanding win of the season.

Roosevelt's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Huntington Park, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Roosevelt and Huntington Park will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Rough Riders see the field they'll take on Marquez at 2:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Huntington Park, their break will end when they face South East at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
