Jasper Roseberry Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Cody-Kilgore came up short on Friday despite Jasper Roseberry delivering his best game to date. Roseberry rushed for 245 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.6) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.

Cody-Kilgore is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Roseberry and Cody-Kilgore will take on Minatare at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jack Hunter Delivers Best Performance of Season

Sioux County was led to victory by Jack Hunter, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hunter rushed for 243 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also made nine total tackles (0.5 for loss) and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

If the past is any indication, Hunter could be in store for another big game when he takes on Crawford on Friday. Hunter rushed for 144 yards and four touchdowns the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in September of 2023.

Grady Gorwill Dazzles in Arthur County Win

Arthur County picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Grady Gorwill. Gorwill did his part (and then some), rushing for 167 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Arthur County's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Gorwill and Arthur County will face off against Hay Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Reece Posts Huge Game in 60-42 Victory

Another Sioux County player making an appearance on this list is Baxter Reece. He rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 86 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes.

On the season, Reece has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 53.9 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 6.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 87 rushing yards.
