Basketball Recap: Irrigon Takes a Loss

Irrigon lost against Riverside back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between the Irrigon Knights and the Riverside Pirates didn't end well, with the Irrigon Knights falling 49-30.

Justien Tido had an outrageously good game for Riverside as she posted 19 points. Tido is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Deisy Zavala was another key player, putting up eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Irrigon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Riverside, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Irrigon will venture away from home to face off against Umatilla at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside, they will be taking part in a tournament against Goldendale at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
