Basketball Recap: North Clay/Clay City Comes Up Short

North Clay/Clay City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neoga Indians. North Clay/Clay City was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Neoga earlier this season, when they won 48-45.

North Clay/Clay City's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Neoga, they moved to 11-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Clay/Clay City will host Brownstown/St. Elmo at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Neoga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
