Ardmore's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Ardmore and Westminster Christian Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 211th) will meet Athens (ranked 30th) at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Westminster Christian Academy will square off against Bob Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (309 vs. 64).
