Corvian Community proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 42) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They slipped by the Community School of Davidson Spartans 29-28. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won six contests in a row.

Corvian Community found their leader in freshman Tyson Douglas-Brown, who threw for 215 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground.
