Basketball Game Preview: Baker County Wildcats vs. Bradford Tornadoes

Having just played yesterday, the Baker County Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bradford Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Baker County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season.

On Friday, Baker County beat Temple Christian Academy 61-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Jamarion Goodman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Jackson Carver was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bradford waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 72-43 win over the Indians. The Tornadoes' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bradford's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Baker County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Baker County beat Bradford 60-50 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Will Baker County repeat their success, or does Bradford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
