Baseball Recap: DuPont Manual Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for DuPont Manual's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Campbell County Camels on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Crimsons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

DuPont Manual's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Campbell County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10-1 record this season.

DuPont Manual will square off against Bullitt Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Crimsons are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Cougars a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Campbell County, they will face off against Sayre at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Camels' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
