Softball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John fell victim to Branchville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Yellow Jackets, falling 15-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Islanders were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped St. John's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. As for Branchville, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's will head out to challenge North Charleston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Branchville, they will venture away from home to square off against Lake Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets are facing the Gators at the right time seeing as the Gators are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
