Volleyball Game Preview: Sci-Tech CyberCats vs. Athol Bears

The Sci-Tech CyberCats will challenge the Athol Bears at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.

On Monday, Sci-Tech came up short against Granby and fell 3-1. The CyberCats haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-27, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Athol had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Hampden Charter School of Science with a sharp 3-0 victory. The contest marked the Bears' most dominant win of the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-11.

Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Athol, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Sci-Tech beat Athol 3-1 when the teams last played on Thursday. Do the CyberCats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
