Basketball Recap: Kennebunk's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

Kennebunk lost against York back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kennebunk Rams fell 49-38 to the York Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Wildcats are ranked fifth).

Kennebunk moved to 6-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for York, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Kennebunk will head out on the road to face off against Westbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennebunk is facing Westbrook at the right time seeing as Westbrook is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for York, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Marshwood at 7:00 p.m.
