Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ball). Everything went their way against the Santa Fe Indians on Saturday as the Ball Tornadoes made off with a 6-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tornadoes needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Ball picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Santa Fe, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coincidentally, Ball and Santa Fe will both be playing Angleton the next time they take the pitch. Ball will host Angleton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Santa Fe will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
