After losing to Cardington-Lincoln the last time they met, River Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The River Valley Vikings came out on top against the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates by a score of 50-43 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Despite the loss, Cardington-Lincoln still got an impressive performance from Madison Caulkins, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards Caulkins has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Abigail Hardwick, who posted ten points.

River Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Cardington-Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

River Valley is taking a road trip to face off against Clear Fork at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they will host Buckeye Central at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
