Ramsey had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Pascack Valley Panthers. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Ramsey pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Pascack Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Ramsey and Pascack Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Rams will take on Emerson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (9 vs. 112). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ramsey 2.1, the Cavaliers 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Pascack Valley (ranked 35th) will meet Teaneck (ranked 247th) at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
