Basketball Recap: Thompson Falls Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Thompson Falls entered their tilt with Lincoln County on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 58-44 win over the Lincoln County Lions. Given the Blue Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Lions are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Thompson Falls pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Lincoln County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
