Flag Football Game Preview: Wauconda Bulldogs vs. Cary-Grove Trojans

The Wauconda Bulldogs will face off against the Cary-Grove Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cary-Grove took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Wauconda, who comes in off a win.

Wauconda is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Belvidere get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory.

Wauconda didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Natalie Bahena and Kelsey Funkhouser.

Meanwhile, Cary-Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 14-6 to Dundee-Crown.

Wauconda's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Cary-Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Wauconda suffered a grim 30-6 defeat to Cary-Grove when the teams last played back in August. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
