Volleyball Recap: Immokalee Indians vs. Everglades City Gators
Immokalee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Everglades City Gators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Immokalee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Everglades City, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.
After both having extra time off, Immokalee and Naples Classical will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Naples Classical is coming into the match with five straight losses on the road, meaning Immokalee will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Everglades City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
