Softball Recap: White River Valley Comes Up Short

White River Valley was the 9-6 winner over Poultney when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Poultney, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White River Valley will square off against Proctor at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Poultney, they will challenge Arlington Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
