Basketball Game Preview: Mason Eagles vs. Earlsboro Wildcats

The Mason Eagles will take on the Earlsboro Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Mason: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Earlsboro has snatched up seven consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Mason ended up a good deal behind Paden and lost 51-34. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Pirates are ranked 148th).

Meanwhile, Earlsboro was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 55-49 to Southwest Covenant.

Earlsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Mason, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
