Football Game Preview: Noble & Greenough Bulldogs vs. Rivers Red Wings

The Noble & Greenough Bulldogs will face off against the Rivers Red Wings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Noble & Greenough will be strutting in after a win while Rivers will be coming in after a loss.

Noble & Greenough will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Governor's Academy, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bulldogs secured a 16-12 W over the Governors on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Rivers fell victim to St. Mark's and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 22-0 to the Lions.

Noble & Greenough's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rivers, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Noble & Greenough came up short against Rivers in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 6-0. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
