Basketball Recap: Ashdown Takes a Loss

Ashdown saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hampton Bulldogs by a score of 64-61.

Ashdown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hampton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ashdown Panthers challenge the Hope Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hope will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Ashdown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hampton, they will welcome Junction City at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th. Hampton is facing Junction City at the right time seeing as Junction City is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
