New Palestine had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the East Central Trojans. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

New Palestine not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept East Central between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Leading New Palestine to victory were Azure Flagle and Samantha Gooding. Flagle had 13 digs, while Gooding had 22 assists. Gooding is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

New Palestine's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for East Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

New Palestine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Hamilton Heights on the 27th. As for East Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rushville on the 26th.
