Soccer Recap: West Jordan Takes a Loss

West Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cyprus Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Cyprus this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

West Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Cyprus, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Jordan will host Granger at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Jordan will need to watch out since Granger have now posted at least four goals in their last six games. As for Cyprus, they will welcome Hunter at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
