After a string of five wins, Fulton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Kerby Germann paced Fulton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Germann got some help from Brianne Brennan and her 12 assists. Belle Curley and Jada Schaver kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Leading Erie-Prophetstown to victory were Brown Brynn and Hodgett Shelby. Brynn had 14 digs and three assists, while Shelby had five digs and four aces.

Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Erie-Prophetstown, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Fulton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Pecatonica on the 4th. As for Erie-Prophetstown, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Dixon on the 4th.
