Soccer Recap: Joshua Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Joshua was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Cleburne Yellowjackets. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Owls couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Cayden Howard, who's now up to five this season.

Joshua's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Cleburne, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Joshua has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Mansfield Summit on the 28th. As for Cleburne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 loss against Burleson on the 28th.
