Softball Recap: St. Bernard Takes a Loss

St. Bernard lost against Griswold on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Saints might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to the Wolverines, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lena Byers was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.

St. Bernard now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Griswold, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

St. Bernard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Plainfield on the 8th. Griswold has also already played their next contest (against Tourtellotte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
