Basketball Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss

Crestwood has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 62-37 to the Canfield Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Canfield, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2.

Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canfield, they will face off against Streetsboro at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Streetsboro will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Canfield surely won't give up without a fight.
