River Ridge had won four straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 22-6 to make it five. Everything went their way against the Sequoyah Chiefs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Isabella Rigg paced River Ridge's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rigg got some help from Ally Page and her 29 assists.

As for Sequoyah, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 17-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 9, 2024.

Despite the loss, Sequoyah still got an impressive performance from Jessica White, who had 20 digs and two assists. White has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

River Ridge and Sequoyah will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Knights see the court they'll take on Riverwood at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Sequoyah, their break will end when they face Pope at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th.
