Soccer Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santaluces Chiefs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in November of 2024.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Santaluces, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6-2.

Atlantic wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Boynton Beach on the 10th. Santaluces has also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Forest Hill on the 14th.
