Early never let their opponents score on Friday. They came out on top against the Buffalo Bison by a score of 5-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Aidan Foster looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Early's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Byron Bolton, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Early and bumps their season record up to 12-10. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-24 Buffalo and 1-8 Chadwick. As for Buffalo, they dropped their record down to 3-24 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Early will be playing at home against New Covenant Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Buffalo, they will venture away from home to face off against Chadwick at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.18 runs per game on average), something the Bison will no doubt try to take advantage of.
