Basketball Recap: Northside Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Ragin Prep Christian Academy

On Friday, everything came up roses for the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders against the Ragin Prep Christian Academy Rams as the team secured a 73-46 win. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Northside Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Dalton Gadson went 9 of 21 on his way to 25 points and Sam Burks went 6 for 8 on his way to 13 points and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gadson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylan Weaver, who posted five points in addition to eight assists and five boards.

Northside Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Omari Myers, who put up 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zymir Robinson-Hill, who had 11 points.

Northside Christian Academy's record now sits at 6-1. As for Ragin Prep Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Northside Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-63 victory against Wilson Hall on the 14th. As for Ragin Prep Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-40 loss against Orangeburg Prep on the 14th.
