Soccer Recap: Godby Has No Trouble Against Jefferson County

Godby kept a clean sheet against Jefferson County on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Jefferson County Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in November of 2024.

Godby is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matchups. As for Jefferson County, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Godby will be playing in front of their home fans against Berkeley Prep at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
