Softball Recap: Muir Comes Up Short

Muir and St. Bonaventure squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Muir had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Seraphs by a score of 4-3. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Abigail (Abi) Milton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Raquel Paez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Muir's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for St. Bonaventure, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Muir does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Bonaventure, they have already played their next contest, a 17-3 win against Patriot on the 21st.
