Covington-Douglas posted their biggest victory since January 12, 2024 on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 41-15 margin over the Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

The win got Covington-Douglas back to even at 6-6. As for Deer Creek-Lamont, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Covington-Douglas will challenge Cimarron at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Covington-Douglas is facing Cimarron at the right time seeing as Cimarron is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
