Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Trinity Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Holy Cross Lutheran Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Orlando Christian Prep Warriors on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-13.

Trinity Christian Academy's offense was headlined by LaShyla Easter and Sarah McManama, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Charlee Phillips and her eight assists. Easter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Orlando Christian Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Trinity Christian Academy will square off against Circle Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Centurions at the right time seeing as the Centurions are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Orlando Christian Prep, they will challenge Forest Lake Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
