Basketball Game Preview: Crescenta Valley Falcons vs. Hart Hawks

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Crescenta Valley Falcons challenge the Hart Hawks at 10:00 a.m. on Monday... Hart took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Crescenta Valley, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Crescenta Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Glendale, taking the game 48-39. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Nitros are ranked 469th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Hart's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Valencia 53-48.

Crescenta Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Hart, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 15-6.

Crescenta Valley came up short against Hart when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 68-57. Can Crescenta Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
