Basketball Recap: Central Montcalm Takes a Loss

Central Montcalm lost against Big Rapids back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Central Montcalm Hornets lost to the Big Rapids Cardinals on the road by a 57-43 margin. The Hornets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Central Montcalm's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Big Rapids, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Montcalm will host Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Montcalm is facing Lakeview at the right time seeing as Lakeview is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Big Rapids, they will be playing at home against Tri County Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Rapids knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Tri County Area likes a good challenge.
