Soccer Recap: Elba Takes a Loss

Elba was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wheatland-Chili Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wheatland-Chili this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Elba now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wheatland-Chili, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

Elba will challenge Kendall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheatland-Chili, they will venture away from home to challenge Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
