Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Dodd City

Trinity Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Dodd City Hornets on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Trinity Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from MacKenna Wiltse, who had ten digs, three blocks, and two aces. Rimini Covington was another key player, getting five kills and three digs.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Leonard at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dodd City, they will head out on the road to take on Tom Bean at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
