Winthrop not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25th (when they won 17-0). They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Mount Abram Roadrunners. The win continues a trend for the Ramblers in their matchups with the Roadrunners: they've now won three in a row.

Winthrop's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Mount Abram, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winthrop will square off against Lisbon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Ramblers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Mount Abram, they will take on Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
