Softball Recap: Red Bay Takes a Loss

Red Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Belgreen Bulldogs. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Red Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Belgreen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Coming up, Red Bay will take on Sulligent at 5:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Belgreen, they will venture away from home to face off against Phil Campbell at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Phil Campbell has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.06 runs per game on average), something Belgreen will no doubt try to take advantage of.
