Godwin is a perfect 10-0 against Hermitage since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Godwin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Godwin was able to grind out a solid win over Prince George, taking the game 6-2. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won four in a row.

Lila Palmer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on 14 hits.

On the hitting side, Mackenzie White was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run. Avery Fankhauser also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Hermitage made sure to put some runs up on the board against James River Midlothian on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over the Rapids. Considering the Panthers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win got Hermitage back to even at 5-5. As for Godwin, their record now sits at 8-4.

Everything went Godwin's way against Hermitage in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Godwin made off with a 21-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
