Baseball Recap: Ganado Takes a Loss

Ganado lost against Shiner back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Comanches by a score of 3-2. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ganado saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cain Hayden, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Hayden has become a key player for the Indians: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-9-1 otherwise.

Ganado's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Shiner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ganado and Shiner will both be playing Flatonia the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Comanches will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
