Basketball Game Preview: Moscow Bears vs. Bonners Ferry Badgers

The Moscow Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Bonners Ferry Badgers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Moscow has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Bonners Ferry will arrive with 29 straight victories.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-36, which was the final score in Moscow's tilt against Lewiston on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bonners Ferry took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 74-21 win over Stillwater Christian. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 27 points or more this season.

Bonners Ferry's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Moscow, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Things could have been worse for Moscow, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-50 loss to Bonners Ferry when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Moscow avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
