The Memorial Warriors will take on the Anna Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Memorial took a 21-point loss the last time they faced off against Liberty, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors skirted past the Redhawks 31-28. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Becket Martin went supernova, rushing for 160 yards. Those 160 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Memorial was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 239 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Anna, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to Denison for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-17 win. The result was nothing new for the Coyotes, who have now won four games by 31 points or more so far this season.
Anna had a senior duo take command as Ziondre Williams threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns and Ace Traylor gained 141 total yards and two touchdowns. Williams is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Anna didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Israel Johnson and Dre Young. Austin Crowley was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.
Anna's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Memorial was taken down by Anna 76-14 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Williams, who rushed for 69 yards and three scores on only five carries, and also threw for 198 yards and a pair of TDs.
