Soccer Recap: Gilmour Academy Takes a Loss

Gilmour Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Archbishop Hoban Knights, falling 6-3. Evan Saline probably wasn't too happy after the contest: he scored every single goal for Gilmour Academy and still walked away on the losing team.

Gilmour Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-4. As for Archbishop Hoban, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8-2.

Gilmour Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop Hoban, they are taking a road trip to face off against Aurora at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Archbishop Hoban's defense better be ready for this one: Aurora have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season.
