Game recap: Glendale Prep Academy beats Mesa Prep

GLENDALE, Ariz. - After swapping the lead two times, Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, Ariz.) took the lead for the win when they scored a defensive touchdown in the second quarter, paving the way for victory over Mesa Prep (Mesa, Ariz.) 57-28.

After taking the lead on a defensive touchdown in the second quarter, Glendale Prep Academy was up 18-12 at the half.

GPA expanded its lead to nine points entering the fourth quarter. The Glendale school scored three times in the third, including once on a kick return touchdown by Myles Mattox.

Glendale Prep Academy's Jarred Yada scored two touchdowns on the ground in the victory.

Glendale Prep Academy avenged last year's 54-42 loss to the MONSOONS with the victory.
