Volleyball Recap: Bellefonte Comes Up Short

Bellefonte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Central Mountain Wildcats. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Bellefonte was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 25-23.

Colbie Frailey paced Bellefonte's offense, picking up nine kills. Frailey got some help from Aubrey Schreppel and her 16 assists. Schreppel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Bellefonte now has a losing record of 14-15-2. As for Central Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Bellefonte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Mountain, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hollidaysburg on the 29th.
