Soccer Game Preview: Lomira vs. Winnebago Lutheran Academy

Lomira is 0-6 against Winnebago Lutheran Academy since April of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m.

On Monday, Lomira came up short against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah and fell 3-1. Lomira have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Winnebago Lutheran Academy kept a clean sheet against Omro on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Foxes.

Lomira's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Lomira might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
